Together with Tebuireng Media Group, the world’s world network held 3 major events in Tebuireng

Tebuireng.online-In commemoration of the 6th anniversary, Duniasantri Network (JDS) in collaboration with Tebuireng Media Group (TMG) held three major events titled ‘Remembrance of Independence’ which will be held for four consecutive days, from 20 to 23 August 2025 in the region Tebuireng Islamic Boarding SchoolJombang, East Java.

The three events include Performance of Art and Culture and Santri Puppet, Creative Writing Workshop and Journalism, as well as National Book Surgery and Surgery. This series of activities is open to the public and is expected to become a cultural friendship room and a vehicle for increasing the capacity of literacy and criticism of students and the general public.

“We want to make this birthday momentum not just a celebration, but also an intellectual consolidation room, culture and creativity of students,” said Atiqotul Fitriyah, Chair of the Committee as well as representatives of the Duniasantri network, (18/8) when interviewed.

He also added that this activity was the result of synergy many parties who had the same spirit in building the world of pesantren -based santri literacy and local culture.

“The collaboration with Tebuireng Media Group is proof that the pesantren not only maintains tradition, but is also able to become the center of innovation and expressions of santri in the fields of authorship, journalism, and performing arts,” said the UIN Jakarta lecturer.

Meanwhile, Munawara, the Coordinator of the Local Committee at the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School said that his party welcomed this collaboration as a form of synergy between pesantren -based media.

“We feel proud to be the host of this big event. This is not only ceremonial activities, but also building positive energy among students, teachers, and the surrounding community,” he told Tebuireng.online.

Series of activities

• August 20: Performance of Art and Culture and Wayang Santri Will show a collaborative show between students, local artists, and national cultural figures, as an expression of local wisdom that grows in the pesantren environment.
• August 21-22: Creative Writing Workshop and Journalism Present young writers, professional journalists, and editors from various national media who will equip participants with creative writing techniques, reportage, and management of digital media.
• August 23: National Book Surgery and Surgery Presenting the author of the book ‘Exploring Pancasila Fire’ with speakers from various scientific fields.

This activity is not only a place for cultural and intellectual appreciation, but also a forum for sharing experiences between santri from various regions. The Duniasantri Network Team emphasized that this event was also a form of commitment to strengthen the pesantren network based on literacy and culture.

“We invite all students, students, students, and the general public to attend, participate, and celebrate together. This is our big house to meet, learn, and inspire each other,” said Atiqotul Fitriyah.
