Thousands of Tebuireng Santri Holds Prayers and Istighosah for the Safety of the Nation

Tebuireng.online– Thousands of Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School students, Jombang, held prayers and istighosah together on Saturday (8/30/2025) night. This activity was held as a form of concern for the condition of the Indonesian nation which was later considered to be facing a situation less conducive.

The joint prayer was led directly by Kiai Mustaqim Askan at Pondok Putra Pesantren Tebuireng, and KH. Fahmi Amrullah Hadziq in Pondok Putri. The series of events was held after the evening prayer solemnly followed by thousands of students.

Mudir Division of Pondok Development, H. Luqman, emphasized that this istighosah is a form of spiritual spiritual efforts of Santri Tebuireng to pray for the safety of the nation.

“We need to say that at this time the condition of our nation is not good. Let us together ask Allah SWT so that the Indonesian state is given salvation. God willing, with the prayers of all students, Allah will save this nation,” he said.

The joint prayer instructions came directly from the caregiver of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, KH. Abdul Hakim Machfudz. According to Kiai Mustaqim, the message was an invitation that the students always pray for the integrity of the nation and the welfare of the people.

“This istighosah activity is a request from our caregiver. The santri pray to God that the Indonesian people remain safe, prosperous, and get the best way,” he explained.

In addition to holding istighosah, through video recording, KH. Abdul Hakim Machfudz, as Chairman of the East Java PWNU, conveyed an exclamation to all Indonesian people through video uploads on social media, inviting all parties to refrain and prioritize unity for the safety of the Republic of Indonesia.

“The situation that we face today is a form of gap between the government and the community that has been going on for a long time. Therefore, let us face with patience and refrain from the emergence of damage. I invite all parties to prioritize safety, integrity, and progress of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, by promoting a sense of brotherhood, let’s maintain the order, …” he stressed.
