The law bathing the body if you do not find water

Implementation of the practice of caring for the body.

In Islam, the law of practice Tajhiz Janazah Or generally called the company market market is a mandatory kifayah. The practice of corpse marketing consists of several networks, namely bathing, caring, merging, and burial. Four sequences are carried out when Mayyit is a person who dies in non -pilgrimage or umrah and does not die in a condition of battle in the path of Allah (martyr).

Ihram and martyr people have their own exceptions, if Ihram people must be carried out by the four processions earlier but are not perfect at the time of confusion because death does not cancel ihram.

The proverb: (if covered, it will not be hidden, etc. And the words require that the four must be in it, but it is incomplete because it does not cover the forbidden head and the forbidden face …

The word Musannif: ‘If it already exists in the world, then it cannot be covered …’ that is, it cannot be used sewn and cannot be seized. From this speech, it can be concluded that there are four things to remember, but it is incomplete because the head of the person who is in the pilgrimage and the face of the obedient woman is not closed … (unable to cover his head and the face of his psychiatric woman) because the condition of the ihram was not canceled by his death and the face of the psychiatric) due and his death) because the condition of the ihram was not canceled by his death and death) because the condition of the ihram was not canceled by his death and death) because the condition of the ihram was not canceled by his death and death) because the condition of the ihram was not canceled by his death and death) because the condition of the ihram was not canceled by his death. (Ibrahim Al-Bajuri, Hasyiah Bajuri, (Jakarta: Dar Pole Ilmiyah, 2007), 477)

Then the reason why a martyry -dead person is not dikfani is because to let his blood witness his struggle, Shaykh Ibrahim Bajuri said in his book:

Conversely, it is forbidden for martyrs to maintain the effects of martyrous, namely blood, when reported that the smell on the resurrection day like the smell of musk, and this is the most likely, if it is not possible blood in it and is prohibited. And if he does not have a blood effect, even if menstruation, damage and spa

What is forbidden for people who die martyrs is because it aims to maintain a martyr trail, namely his blood, because there is a history that states that the smell on the Day of Judgment will be like a smell of misik. This is a common thing, although there may be no blood in it, it is still forbidden. If there is no trace of blood, even in a state of menstruation, postpartum, or junub, but if exposed to other unclean, then it is obligatory to eliminate it even though it results in loss of martyred blood. (Hasyiah Bajuri, 366)

Problems arise if one of the four obligations is not supported by the presence of adequate tools or facilities. Water is an important aspect in the deceased bath, if no water is found, of course the procession of the body’s marketing will be hampered. The solution in this problem is certainly a must be in fiqh, especially because this religious law must always provide solutions to their people.

Problems like this, in Indonesia in particular, are rarely found because indeed in Indonesia there are very few areas that are claimed to be difficult water throughout the year. However, this problem does not rule out the possibility of occurs in a place that is generally easy to find water. Then how is the solution when bathing the body and there is no water found.

Sheikh Ibrahim al-Bajuri described this problem in his book, he wrote

Prayer validity is needed to the dead to be washed or tayammous when he cannot wash. And if it is in a place where the presence of water is dominated, returns must be raised, if found before burial, if found afterwards, then it is not removed, and if it does not change, contrary to Ibn Hajar.

And required for the legitimate prayer of the body is before the body has been bathed or supervised if it is unable to take a shower. If water is found after tayamum because there is no water found, then if it is in a more common place difficult water or the equivalent level of difficult and water, then it does not need to be repeated (tayammum). However, if it is in a more common place for water, it is obligatory to repeat if water is found before burial. If water is found after the burial, it does not need to be explored again even though the condition of the body has not been damaged, in contrast to the opinion of Ibn Hajar. (Hasyiah Bajuri, 377)

From the explanation of Shaykh Ibrahim Bajuri above, it can be concluded that even though there is no water found there is still a solution to dating the body, namely with Tayammum. But there is a note, if water is found after Tayammum Mayyit and Mayyit died in an area that is easily found in water, then the people who take care of the bodies must re-bathe it if the body has not been buried.
