Winning National Achievements, Two Ma’had Delegates Aly Hasyim Asy’ari Winners of 2025 MQKN Scientific Minutes

Tebireng.online- Mahasantri Ma’had Aly Hasyim Asy’ari Tebuireng has once again made brilliant achievements at the national level. M. Husnu Widadi (from Probolinggo) won 1st place and Rizky Amaliah (from Majene, West Sulawesi) won 3rd place in the Scientific Minutes competition at the 2025 National Musabaqah Qira’atil Pole (MQKN) event.

The two mahasantri, who were part of the eight delegations from the Ma’had Aly Hasyim Asy’ari caravan, won after going through a strict selection by writing using the Pegon script. The semifinal and final rounds of the MQKN, organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Religion (Kemenag), took place on 3-5 October 2025 at the As’adiyyah Islamic Boarding School, South Sulawesi.

Rizky Amaliah said that his participation began with the direct guidance of Ustadz Anang, one of Ma’had Aly’s lecturers. After passing the preliminaries, he and Husnu undertook intensive preparations for two months under the guidance of Dr. H. Mohammad Anang Firdaus and Dr. Ahamd Ubaydi Hasbillah.

The main difficulty agreed upon by the participants was the competition conditions which required writing more than 3,000 words in nine hours using the Pegon script.

Rizky specifically faced technical challenges that tested his mentality on race day. “On the day of the competition, I had to exchange laptops with other participants, and I got a laptop with a black screen on one side, and some of the keyboards couldn’t even be used,” recalled Rizky. He was grateful that these technical problems did not dampen his enthusiasm for completing his writing.

The competition assessment itself covers various aspects, starting from novelty of ideas, depth of exploration of the yellow book (turats), to narrative structure and ability to write Pegon script.

For this achievement, both Husnu and Rizky admitted that they were very grateful. “Alhamdulillah, I am happy, this is thanks to the guidance, prayers and support from the teachers,” said Husnu.

Rizky added that through this competition, he gained a lot of new knowledge, met students from all over Indonesia, and received ideas for solving various problems.

Mudir Ma’had Aly Hasyim Asy’ari also expressed his very high appreciation. This achievement adds to the list of brilliant achievements of Ma’had Aly Tebuireng at MQKN 2025, who previously also won in the Bahtsul Pole and Qonun Debate competitions. Rizky closed with gratitude, emphasizing that the leadership’s support was a big motivation to continue learning.
