Tebuireng.online— Arabic Education (PBA) S1 Study Program Hasyim Asy’ari University (Unhasy) Tebuireng Jombang Holds Field Assessment (AL) for two days, namely on Friday-Saturday (4-5/7/2025). This activity took place at the Unhasy Building and carried out by the Mandiri Education Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK). Two assessors present in this assessment, namely Dr. Mochamad Mizzuddin, M.Pd. and Dr. Nurul Wahdah, M.Pd.
Arabic Language Education Study Program, Arif Setyabudi, M.Pd.I., when interviewed explained, the main purpose of this accreditation process was to provide maximum education services to consumers, namely students. In addition to maintaining quality, also to provide value to the quality that has occurred before.
“So that the goal is fixed, to consumers. Namely students have more trust when students pass their diplomas side by side with accreditation certificates,” Arif said.

This two -day activity includes 2 aspects, namely quantitative and qualitative. In the quantitative aspect, the assessor crosschecks related to quality through a number of documents that contain nine criteria. Whereas in the qualitative aspect, the assessor directly reviews the facilities and infrastructure of the study program to assess the extent to which the facility is able to support the quality of the quality program.

“All facilities are visited, seen the extent of maintenance, the quality of learning support facilities, including checking the learning process carried out by the lecturer, whether it is in accordance with eight consumer learning criteria or not,” explained Arif.
In addition to providing an assessment, according to Arif the important role of the assessors is to provide strategic recommendations to improve quality in the future. The PBA study program said that the preparations they had made were far a few years ago with quality management over the past three years, which were neatly documented in the self -evaluation report and quantitative reports.

Furthermore, Arif explained that the results of accreditation usually came out at the fastest within two weeks after the assessment was carried out. Because there are several stages including the assessment document submitted to the validator for verification. After that, the process continued with a hearing in the assembly, the final decision place regarding the accreditation ranking was officially determined.
He hoped that this assessment would provide benefits not only for the study program, but also for students, graduate users, cooperation partners, and other stakeholders.

Dr. Mizzuddin, M.Pd., as the Assessor 1 team revealed that the spirit and spirit of Arabic were felt in this study program. He hopes the results of the accreditation submitted later can get maximum results. “The spirit unhasy is Arabic. If there is no Arabic, unhasy will not exist,” he said before the team task force and PBA lecturer.
The second assessor, Dr. Nurul Wahdah also appreciated the completeness of the Language and Microteaching laboratory facility as well as the application of the Merdeka Curriculum -based learning method. He stressed the importance of data triangulation, namely matching responses between students, lecturers, and alumni.
Unhasy Chancellor, Prof. Haris Supratno, who was present at the closing session expressed gratitude and appreciation for the assessment. “Stay tawakal, may Allah Ijabahi what we aspire to,” he said.
