Presenting WALHI, Mudir Ma’had Aly Emphasizes Bahtsul Masail’s Focus on Creating a Complete Environmental Jurisprudence

Tebuireng.online – Ma’had Aly Hasyim’ar Bahtsul Masail as one of a series of Congress activities Turats Nabawi (MUTUN) on 10-11 December 2025. The forum, which was held in the Ma’had Aly Hall on the 1st floor, specifically focused discussion on contemporary environmental issues, including the Downstreaming of Natural Resources from an Environmental Jurisprudence Perspective, the Job Creation Law Weakens Environmental Protection, and Green Waqf And Hifdzul Bi’ah in the Maqashid Sharia.

Dr. KH. Achmad Roziqi, Mudir Ma’had Aly Hasyim Asy’ari, revealed that to obtain a more precise study, the committee also invited representatives from the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WALHI). “I would like to ask the WALHI management to provide views regarding downstreaming, the Job Creation Law, and so on,” he said.

According to KH. Achmad Roziqi, WALHI’s presence is very important for the participants deliberation get a comprehensive view before entering legal discussions. “So that we have a comprehensive view before discussing the law. Because knowing before discussing it we really uphold our activities Bahtsul Masail,” he stressed.

He also reminded that the MUTUN series does not stop at Bahtsul Masail. “One of the series of MUTUN activities is the study of ecological hadiths.
