East Java PW IKAPETE Collaborates with East Java PW RMI to Hold Care Event for Al-Khoziny Islamic Boarding School Victims

Tebuireng.online- Surabaya- The Regional Management of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School Alumni Association (PW IKAPETE) East Java together with the Regional Management of the East Java Rabithoh Ma’hadi Islamiyah (PW RMI) plan to hold an event to care for the victims of the collapse of the Al-Khoziny Buduran Sidoarjo Islamic Boarding School disaster. This plan emerged during a joint coffee event between the daily management of the two East Java Province level organizations at Bangsawan Kopitiam Surabaya, Saturday (11/10/2025).

“In the near future we will hold a caring event for the martyred students who were victims of the collapse of Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School’s prayer room,” said KH. Roisudin Bakri, Chairman of PW IKAPETE accompanied by KH. Abdul Hakim Hidayat, chairman of PW RMI East Java.

According to the man who is familiarly called H. Rois, apart from being a disaster or national tragedy, this disaster is also a disaster in itself for the world of Islamic boarding schools.

“Through joint activities later, we will show that this is a disaster with the Islamic boarding school world and we, the Islamic boarding school alumni, are supported by RMI behind Al Khoziny in dealing with this problem,” he said, agreeing with Gus Hikam, the nickname of the Chairman of PW RMI East Java.

To be more technical, RMI friends will later determine the setting for the event which is planned to be held at the East Java PWNU Office in Surabaya.

“God willing, next Wednesday, the place will be at the East Java PWNU Office, then we will invite students and caregivers from all over East Java,” he concluded optimistically.
