Accepting the MWCNU Perak Waqf Oath, Gus Fahmi: This is the Inner Journey of Devotion to the Foundation

Tebuireng.online- Chairman of PCNU Jombang at the same time dzurriyah Hadratussyaikh KH Muhammad Hasyim Asy’ari, KH. Fahmi Amrullah Hadzik (Gus Fahmi), gave high appreciation to the management of MWCNU Perak. This award was presented in the momentum of the “Mlampah Sareng Sowan Hadratussyaikh” activity which was held at the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Monday (02/02/2026).

In this agenda, Gus Fahmi directly received the waqf pledge submitted by the MWCNU Perak extended family. The waqf assets were then handed over to PCNU Jombang to be managed professionally and trustfully for the benefit of the Nahdliyin residents.

Gus Fahmi expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the Perak District NU administrators who traveled on foot 12 kilometers from Perak to Tebuireng. According to him, the walk to commemorate the centenary of NU in the Gregorian calendar has a deep spiritual meaning.

“I express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for all your struggles. This is not just a physical journey, but an inner journey and a journey of devotion to God. founder NU,” said Gus Fahmi in front of hundreds of cadres.

Furthermore, Gus Fahmi provided strengthening of the organization’s vision to all management. He emphasized the importance of maintaining and reviving the traditions and legacy of the struggles of previous ulama, especially at the branch level which is the grassroots base of Nahdlatul Ulama.

According to Gus Fahmi, NU’s strength lies in its consistency in maintaining scientific traditions, charity and community togetherness which were inherited directly by Hadratussyaikh KH Muhammad Hasyim Asy’ari.

At the end of his speech, Gus Fahmi prayed that all NU administrators in Jombang Regency, especially the extended MWCNU Perak family, would always receive blessings from the founders of Nahdlatul Ulama.

“Hopefully all NU administrators will be given blessings from the founderstrengthened physically and mentally, and given patience and sincerity in carrying out the mandate of service at Nahdlatul Ulama,” he concluded.

The activity, which was attended by around 400 people, ended with a joint pilgrimage to the grave complex of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School community which took place solemnly.
