Tebuireng forms the discipline of santri through the socialization of the rules

Tebuireng.online— In the framework of the New Santri Orientation Period (MOSBA) in 2025, the Department of Security of the Pesantren Pesantren Tebuireng delivered socialization about the importance of maintaining security and order during the education period at the pesantren. This activity is an important part of forming the discipline of santri from an early age.

On Saturday (5/7/2025), Ustadzah Indah Naila as the coordinator of the Pondok Department of Security, conveyed in detail the main objectives of the Department of Security, namely creating an orderly, safe, and conducive cottage environment to support learning activities and fostering the character of students.

One important point in this socialization is the category of violations that must be avoided by students. Violations are classified based on the level of seriousness, ranging from moderate violations to serious violations, each accompanied by sanctions points to be imposed.

Some examples of moderate violations (35-75 points) include:

* Bring or leave a cellphone, laptop, or electronic device without permission.
* Damaging infrastructure or school infrastructure.
* Climbing the hut fence.
* Intimidating friends or local residents.
* Following the organization without permission from the head of the cottage or school.

Meanwhile, serious violations include:

* Exit the cottage at night without permission.
* Go to entertainment venues such as internet cafes and PS.
* Bring or turn on firecrackers.
* Do that endangering yourself or the environment.
* Against caregivers, teachers, or managers.
* Consumption and circulate drugs or liquor.
* Storing and spreading pornographic content.
* Married during the education period at the cottage.

In addition, special provisions are also conveyed by the use of laptops for students. Laptops should only be used with recommendations from schools, must be equipped with legality stickers from security management, and can only be used in the supervisor room at 20.00-22.00 WIB. Violations of this provision will lead to the confiscation of the device until the graduation period.

With this material, it is hoped that new students will understand the rules that apply and are able to instill discipline and responsibilities in the life of the pesantren.
