Support Healthy Santri, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin joined the health check in Tebuireng

Tebuireng.online— As part of the ITHLAQ Santri 2025 series, the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School held a free health check activity on Monday (9/22). This event was increasingly special with the presence of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. H. Nasaruddin, MA who gave full support for efforts to maintain the health of the students. During his visit, the Minister of Religion participated in checking his health.

This health examination activity was carried out in collaboration with medical personnel from the Cukir Health Center and Hasyim Asy’ari Hospital (RSHA). Examination includes screening diseases such as tuberculosis and other family history of disease. In addition there are also checking blood pressure, height, weight, eye examination, blood sugar levels, hemoglobin (HB), and ear examination.

According to Dr. Dina, Head of Cukir Health Center, this initial examination aims to detect early disease while facilitating further treatment. “The main goal is prevention. If there are health problems, it can be treated immediately so that it does not develop worse,” he explained.

The Principal of the Muallimin School, Ustadz Yunus, said that this program was part of the Free Health Inspection Program (PKG) whose instructions have been running for the past two months.

“Nationally, this program includes all students at various levels of schools, while in Muallimin Tebuireng this activity has also begun two months ago with a class 1 examination first and Alhamdulillah now this PKG activity has become a series of ITHLAQ Hari Santri 2025,” he said.

The enthusiasm of the students can be seen from the crowd of participants who took part in the examination since morning. “I feel happy with the existence of PKG so I know the state of my self -health,” said Zaidan, a Santri Muallimin.

At the end of his remarks, Ustadz Yunus conveyed how important health checks were among students. “Healthy favors are important, healthy students will be more optimal in learning,” he said.
