Speak to God’s messengers through the birthday

Tebuireng.online— In order to welcome the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, on the 12th Rabiul 1447 H, Pondok Putra Pesantren Tebuireng held a reading activity Learn Ad-Be-From ‘ Together with the caregiver of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, KH. Abdul Hakim Machfudz, at the Pondok Putra Pesantren Tebuireng Mosque, Thursday (4/9/2025) night.

Ustadz Muhammad Nai’m, revealed that the purpose of the reading activity of the Ad-Diba Mawlid ‘was to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.

“The main purpose of this activity is to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad. Through this commemoration, we hope to emulate the morals of the Prophet and foster the love of santri for him,” he said.

He also revealed that the reading of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad had been prepared since one month ago.

“The preparation for the commemoration of the Prophet’s Birthday has been carried out about a month earlier. We formed a committee, compiled a series of events, as for the first series of events, namely the reading of the Mawlid AD Diba’i together with the caregiver held tonight to coincide with the 12th of Rabiul Awal, the second event later on September 13, 2025, namely general recitation,” he added.

Then, he continued, we also involved several santri organizations who were experts in their fields such as, the Ireng dome (a collection of Banjari and Hadrah Tebuireng) then in the field of documentation we coordinate with Ireng coffee (Tebuireng Photography Collection) and for live streaming was assisted by the students of SMK Khoiriyah Hasyim and did not forget friends from IPNU Tebuireng.

The reading of the ad-diba maulid ‘Prophet Muhammad, not only took place at the Pondok Putra Pesantren Tebuireng, but also held in several huts such as, Pondok Science Tebuireng, Pondok Putri Pesantren Tebuireng and Pondok Kesamben Tebuireng.
