Pupils of the Putri Walisongo Cukir Islamic Boarding School Showcase Their Talents at the Muhadhoroh Kubro Ghina’ Aroby Branch

Tebuireng.online– The Putri Walisongo Cukir Islamic Boarding School, Jombang, successfully held the Muhadhoroh Kubro activity on Friday (15/1/2026). This activity which focused on the Ghina’ Aroby or Arabic song competition was held in a simple but lively manner, and became a means of education and entertainment for all female students.

This routine event, which is held once or twice a month, is attended directly by the Walisongo Boarding School Management, dormitory or mabna administrators, as well as all the students. The main aim of Muhadhoroh Kubro is to capture and showcase the talents of students in various disciplines, starting from four-language speech, Musabaqoh Syarhil Qur’an, Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur’an, to banjari art.

In the Ghina’ Aroby competition this time, the competition between complexes was quite competitive because each dormitory sent its best delegation. After going through the assessment process, the committee determined Complex 6 as 1st Place, followed by Complex 2 as 2nd Place, and Complex 3 in 3rd Place.

Ustadzah Zulfa, as the jury for the Ghina’ Aroby branch, expressed his appreciation for the quality of the participants’ performances. However, he provided evaluation notes regarding stage control. According to him, performing Arabic songs requires self-confidence and strong interaction with the audience so that the message of the song can be conveyed well, so that control of the stage is a very crucial assessment factor.

In line with this, another judge, Ustadzah Lailatus Sa’diyah, gave suggestions for the participants to be more astute in choosing songs that suit their respective vocal characters. He also emphasized the importance of the aspect of creativity through improvising tunes so that the students’ performances are unique and not just imitating the original singer.

Through this activity, the Putri Walisongo Islamic Boarding School hopes that the mental and self-confidence of the students will be further honed in displaying their talents in front of the public. The event was closed with great joy by the students who were entertained by the performances of their colleagues.
