Tebuireng.online– Santri are not only known as individuals who are firm in faith, Islam and ihsan, but are also required to have an open mindset in facing the challenges of the modern era. In this way, students are expected to be able to make a real contribution to the nation’s progress.

This idea emerged in the book review “Nyantri: Wherever, Whenever, Stay Santri” by M. Rudi Cahyono, which was held at SMK Plus Khoiriyah Hasyim Tebuireng, Sunday (19/10). This event was organized by the Ta’lif wan Nasyr (LTN) Nahdlatul Ulama Diwek Institute and attended by more than 100 participants from Islamic boarding school students, high school, MA and vocational school students.

In his presentation, the author of the book, M. Rudi Cahyono, revealed that his work was born from personal experience since before boarding.

“This book contains a collection of real experiences that I have experienced. The writing process did not use artificial intelligence (AI), because no matter how sophisticated AI is, it cannot perceive my life experiences,” he said, who is also a lecturer at Tribakti Islamic University (UIT) Lirboyo, Kediri.

Meanwhile, Mochammad Fauzan assessed the book Nyantri become an inspiration for the younger generation, especially students, to continue to work and be successful in various fields.

“Now there is nothing impossible for santri to take part. I hope that more santri will appear in various sectors so that government policies can be more pro-people,” he stressed.
