Interest in MA Science Salahuddin Wahid Kesamben Soars, Integration of Science and the Koran Becomes a Magnet

Tebuireng.online- The implementation of the New Santri Admission (PSB) MA Science Salahuddin Wahid Kesamben, Jombang, on Sunday (21/12/2025) was successful. This madrasah, which carries the concept of integrating science and religion, recorded a significant increase in the number of enrollments in the first wave of this year.

The head of the Salahuddin Wahid MA Science Madrasah, Ustadz Roqif, revealed that the community’s enthusiasm for sending their sons and daughters to this institution continues to increase. This can be seen from the registrant data submitted to the committee table.

“The total number of applicants this year is 51 prospective students. In detail, 30 applicants are internal alumni and the other 21 are from outside or non-alumni,” said Ustadz Roqif in his statement.

The success of implementing this PSB is not only measured by numbers, but also by the comfort of facilities and services. The committee provides a large parking area within the cottage area as well as a representative examination room to ensure that prospective students can take the selection test in peace.

“Thank God, yesterday’s PSB implementation went smoothly, according to schedule. The prospective students took part in the selection process calmly and orderly,” he said.

Positive responses also came from parents. Apart from appreciating the friendliness of the committee, the guardians of the students were impressed by the agenda tour hostel. This facility is provided so that parents can see directly the environment where their children will live in the future.

When compared with the previous year, there are quite striking differences. “Last year, in the first wave there were only around 20 prospective students. This year, in the first wave there have been 51 prospective students,” he said. He also added that there was an interesting phenomenon, “There were three student guardians who registered their children for MA Science because their older siblings were alumni of Trensains High School.”

Ustadz Roqif hopes that all prospective students who pass the selection will commit to re-registering and taking the educational process seriously.

“We hope that all prospective students who have been declared accepted will re-register and continue their education seriously at MA Science,” he concluded.
