Gus Kikin Invites the Winners of the Syarah Muqaddimah Buku Adabul ‘Alim wal Muta’allim Contest

Tebuireng online– KH. Abdul Hakim Mahfudz, as the caretaker of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School invited all the winners of the Syarah Muqaddimah Buku writing competition Adabul ‘Alim wal Muta’allim for Discovery Festeral Instruction, on November 03,

At the meeting, the 1st place winners from both adult and student levels were allowed to present their findings directly in front of KH. Abdul Hakim Mahfudz.

KH. Abdul Hakim Mahfudz, was very pleased with the presentation of the presenters, he stated that he understood the thoughts of Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari, through reading his book, gives us an understanding that the book Adabul ‘Alim wal Muta’allim one of the books that is quite difficult to understand.

“So I was thinking, how do we fulfill the muqaddimah adabul alim wa mutaalim? Because basically Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari himself also had difficulties. It is explained in the muqaddimah that it is difficult. What exactly is etiquette? So, then he continued one by one how to instill manners. “Not teaching manners but instilling manners,” he said

He also stated that there are adab in the book Adabul ‘Alim wal Muta’allim cannot be separated from the 3 main teachings of Islam, namely Faith, Islam and Ihsan.

“We must continue to practice faith, Islam and Ihsan, we will continue to explore how we continue to encourage this goodness. Likewise with this affective sense, how can this sense continue to be improved so that it becomes even more important in front of the Shari’a itself.”

KH. Achmad Roziqi also stated that the sharah book competition was held Adabul ‘Alim wal Muta’allim is an effort to preserve and understand the thoughts of the Indonesian ulama.
