After Holidays, Santri Tebuireng 3 Riau Return to Pondok with New Enthusiasm

Tebuireng.onlie- Riau – The long year-end holiday for the students of Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School 3 has officially ended. Since Saturday (4/1/2026), the atmosphere at the cottage has been busy again with the arrival of hundreds of students who are ready to continue their study activities.

The students previously enjoyed a two-week holiday period, starting from December 19 2025 to January 3 2026. Now, they are returning with new enthusiasm after spending time with their families at home.

Observing the location, the cottage was starting to be filled with Islamic boarding school parents who had accompanied their children since the morning. While carrying dormitory equipment, the students were warmly welcomed by the caretakers and asatidz board.

“Thank God, the return of the students after the year-end holidays went in an orderly and smooth manner. The students returned to the boarding school with new enthusiasm to continue their learning and coaching activities,” said Windiyanti, Tebuireng 3 Santri Arrivals Committee.

The Islamic boarding school emphasizes that the moment of returning to the cottage is not just a routine, but rather a momentum to hone discipline, responsibility and manners that may have been “loose” while at home.

It is hoped that the two-week holiday will be an event recharging for students to maintain physical and mental health. Starting Monday (5/1/2026), all formal and diniyah activities in Tebuireng 3 will return to normal.

“We hope that their presence will bring positive energy as well as mental and spiritual readiness to take part in all activities at the Islamic boarding school,” added Windiyanti.

Educational activities and character development will again be on the daily menu of the students as a provision for developing Islamic knowledge, morals and personality in the future.
